She also broke the American record in the 400m IM (scm) and won 2 NCAA Championships, is a 4-Time Olympic Medalist including a Gold Medal in the World Record Breaking 800 Free Relay in Athens World Championship, a Bronze Medalist, a 10-Time National Champion, 2-Time NCAA Champion, and the 2003 Kiputh Award Winner. Kaitlin headed home from Athens with 3 medals to add to her collection and a relay World Record. Out of the pool, Kaitlin enjoys giving back to the community through motivational speaking and youth appearances. She would also like to pursue a career in broadcasting and she has all the talent and charisma needed to be successful at whatever she puts her mind to. She has hosted newscasts, appeared on MAD TV, and been a guest presenter. In addition, Kaitlin enjoys modeling and has appeared in a number of magazines including the Olympic edition of Stuff. Kaitlin works with the YMCA charities, Toyota’s Engines of Change Program, and Mutual of Omaha.
